Prezi

Powerpoint is a great tool created by Microsoft but it has some downsides: Powerpoint is an expensive software and mu be installed on your laptop (it doesn't work on lighter mobile devices such as tablets or smartphones), and only allows a very linear presentation ("bullet points", slide after slide). Instead, Prezi is free, entirely web-based (no need to install anything) and allow to create presentations which are more fluid, more in line with how the human brain functions. You can very easily create and share your Prezis or edit them collectively!
Slideshare

Slideshare is the "Youtube of Powerpoint presentations": similarly to people of upload videos/podcasts and share them online, Powerpoint users from all over the world can now upload their presentations on Slideshare and share them, or embed them into a website/blog, in a matter of seconds. It's a fantastic tool to phase out any photocopies since you can simply upload your documents to Slideshare and then post the link (or embed the html code for even more direct access) for your students to use. They can even download the entire presentation directly to their hard drive or Dropbox account. No more need for bulky photocopied booklets!

Bubbl.us is a very simple (and free) tool to create diagrams or flowcharts: you can add as many bubbles as you want, move them around with the tip of your finger, add text, edit them, etc.
